Per Ruckus, redshirt freshman Peyton Derrick transfers from App St to Wofford. 3 years eligibility.

Apparently he can pass the ball. Hopefully he can run.

With two experienced QB's returning for this year, I hope we don't end up with another QB by committee situation.

Is this someone we recruited out of high school?

Looks like our offense is continuing to evolve to be more "multiple." I like it.

Looks like to me he can run as well as pass. Seems to have a good arm - accurate and with zip on the ball. Has a really nice 40 yd time

Not sure if we recruited him. His brother played at Furman I think and his father played for the Terriers. Class of '83 or '84.

Hope this does not mean Weirick’s injury is more serious than thought.

Look fellas, we need 2 QBs with a decent amount of experience. When Werick went down last year we were very thin at QB which is bad for our offense. We also didn't sign a QB either. This is Newman's last year of eligibility and Moseley has 2. Weirick (one day I will spell it correctly) has 4, and this new transfer has 3.

This addition will keep us out of a bind in 2020 or 2021 where the second and third guys have multiple years on the team.

Can’t remember getting a transfer from App before. He had a problem with interceptions during his few chances there, but had stellar HS stats.
