Unfortunately, I found a way to get ESPN plus working. When we can’t get 3 inches on third down, something is wrong.

It's seems like every time a receiver is brought out of the backfield against us they're wide open. Am I wrong? Or does that happen with other defenses, too?

The RB out of the backfield has been wide open all game and our inability to adjust has cost us twice. Separately, a delay of game out of a timeout is inexcusable.

I think our new coach is getting schooled today. We are looking awful on both sides of the ball. Our defense looks like scared little school boys. Our LB's are being played for fools time after time. On offense we keep doing the same things hoping something has changed. Weird. Can't figure out why Moseley hasn't been in to change it up. Furman has surgically opened us up and exposed us.

This is just hard to watch. Every time we actually do something good, which isn't often, we immediately shoot ourselves in the foot.

If we don’t come back I see it like this:

Today will be our bad game of the season or we got exposed today as being vastly overrated.

We have been outplayed and out coached in every phase of this game. I’m not a doomsday kind of guy. But it could be we just suck

I don't know what happened with Hauser and it's not my business. Noble was barely tolerable when we were winning; but losing he is unacceptable. He may be a good guy... But he is totally lost. Late on every call and seldom knows the players or the yardage. It is very difficult to listen to, and I know I don't want to listen to the Furman announcers. Very disappointing.

We can't even pick up the short yardage 3rd and 4th downs. Hell, I think we've lost yardage on most of them.

don't think we suck, but now is the time to stand up after this.

Our Achilles was exposed AGAIN. Furple QB was 16-19 for 235 and AVERAGED 12.5 per pass! They sat on the pitch man and made Newman beat them which he couldn’t do. I know they had 2 weeks to prepare for us, but we flat did not show up and never adjusted.

Scanning the stats, WOF and FUR were pretty close in total yards with them doubling us in passing and WOF doubling them in rushing. TOP was pretty close. Penalties were about the same. FUR really came at WOF early on both sides of the ball. The Terriers just seemed flat and a bit disoriented. If this was a game that unmasked some big weaknesses in the Terriers.....it could get ugly. However, if it was just one of those "things" vs Furman, WOF should be ok. Better audio this week!.....Go Terriers!

WL’s infatuation with the short side of the field was frustrating to watch. Maybe someone who knows more than me can enlighten me? Also can’t remember one attempt at misdirection to slow them down. We were clearly not ready for what their offense had for us. Hopefully watching some film will correct some of this.

I was disappointed by the lack of misdirection. We adjusted decently on offense in the second half, but there were lots of mistakes in game management through out.

This one was frustrating because we we're never really out of it until the fourth quarter. We didn't get out physicalled on the LOS, they just anticipated our playcall on short yardage and we just couldn't convert. On our defense, they clearly looked at the NDSU tape, because they used the same tactics as they did: roll out passes, quick routes, and runs on the perimeter.

And we failed to adjust. That's on the coaches.

But still, some of it was just bad execution by the players. I don't feel like they're 20 points better than us, this one just snowballed out of control slowly. Sometimes a loss can be a good thing. I think we will see everyone grow from this.
