I’m glad to see that we have already made an offer to Class of 2020’s standout guard Myles Tate of my alma mater Dorman High School. This guy is only 6’0”, 170 lbs. but he’s a super athletic player and terrific shooter, definitely one of South Carolina’s best high school players right now. He also has offers from South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, C of C, and PC.
Myles’ teammate and 2020 classmate, forward-center PJ Hall, who also has an offer from Wofford (as well as C of C, North Florida, PC, and South Carolina) is also very promising. PJ is the son of former Terriers forward Jerome Hall, who played with Greg O’ Dell on some excellent D-2 teams during my time at Wofford. His sister Thayer was the best high school volleyball player in the nation last year. I was hoping she’d come to Wofford but she is now a Florida Gator. At any rate, PJ is already a strong presence inside who goes about 6’9”, 220 lbs. and is still very young so he’ll likely grow bigger and stronger. This duo helped lead Dorman to a state title this year and don’t bet against Myles and PJ winning a couple more with the Cavs. I would love to see both of them in Wofford uniforms down the road. They are both good students too who come from good Christian families.
