This should be the toughest weekend OOC matchup of the season for the Terriers. A few players to watch out for:

Aaron Grijalva 1B:
Preseason Baseball America All-Big South
Preseason SoutheasternBaseball.com All-Big South
SoutheasternBaseball.com Preseason Big South Hitter of the Year
Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American 3rd team

Phillip Laurent OF:
Preseason Baseball America All-Big South
Preseason SoutheasternBaseball.com All-Big South

Michael Solbach SP:
Preseason SoutheasternBaseball.com All-Big South

Here's a good article talking with Liberty preseason All-American 1B Aaron Grijalva and it also gives a little background on the team:

Keep us posted on the game ....

Rough 5th inning gave SC the win today 8-3 ... the difference were the 5 runs that scored in the 5th, all with 2 out, one pitch away from holding them to a 3rd tight game in a row.

Excellent game defensively by both teams though.

Blown sacrifices and a huge baserunning gaff cost us the 2nd game in the double header today. 3 times we had men on 1st and 2nd with no outs and failed to get the bunt down (one K and 2 forces at 3rd). Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
