That is really too bad if true as he had really found his niche and was a major contributor to that winning streak a few weeks back. We will definitely miss his rebounding, defense and overall toughness. Hopefully, he can make it back for the stretch run/tourney.

Ugh. I hope that is not the case. He has had a really rough road and did appear to have found his role. We are a different team without him for sure.

This team really needs a Tim Johnson-type player who owns the boards on both ends. Hopefully, Cam, Pegram and Aluma can step up their collective presence.

Brooks was this team’s Lee Skinner; need another.

No Seniors left. I know Fletch is not very vocal (at least seems this way) but either he, Cam or Pegram would be my choices. Murphy has the trait but hard to be that guy as a Freshman.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Aluma's hustle. He's come along in the last few games with Cam's injuries and foul trouble. He'll do good stuff for us in the coming years.

Aluma is no offensive threat at all at the moment. Needs to work really hard on his post moves and developing an offensive game. We have much more success going in to the post, making teams defend a legitimate post threat then kicking outside for the 3. Our shooters get much better looks that way. Aluma is athletic, great feet and a nice stroke/touch. But is clearly not confident yet in his ability to score.

Agreed. Some time in the weight room and some confidence could turn him into a real threat.
