We all know he's special. Others are starting to notice.

That is a great article about someone that we at Wofford have had the opportunity to watch for two years, and have two more to go--Don't know whether that relates to the NBA, or not--But, Fletcher should be able to play professionally as long as he wants, or as long as his health permits, at a very high level overseas. His work ethic is obviously off the charts. He is very special player, and may be able to put this team on his shoulders until we come together. Coach Young's team building is historically a process, and something i am expecting to see again this year as we move into conference play. The atmosphere is right for dramatic improvement--

More love for Fletch (at 2:05-3:00). It is my hope that the upcoming game at UNC televised nationally on ESPN2 will introduce many more to “Three” Magee. I bet Roy Williams already knows who he is!

Wish she had said more. For example, how about: his numbers are surpassing those of another guy who used to play in the SoCon, with the last name of Curry.

Very cool 10-min interview with Fletcher (starts at 5:45) by Rashad Phillips who was an All-American at Detroit. I've never heard Fletcher talk much about Wofford and his game. Very cool. At the end Rashad said this is the first tim I'm the second best shooter behind the camera.

I read it all, watched it and listened to it, and ate it up! Interesting facts and figures, as well as a fun interview with one who knows what it takes to score the basketball. In many ways tonight's game will be a test of whether our students know what an opportunity they have to see their team with a special player in a very special arena. Today is the first day back for Interim, and the game should be the highlight of the festivities. I look for a good crowd and really excited atmosphere.

When, like we do, you have a special shooter, the team must continue to work to get him the ball and redouble its efforts on defense and the boards. We did not do that vs. UNCG in the second half.

A couple of weeks ago Jackson won the Lute Olson weekly award although the article did not say he was put on the watch list for the annual award. Maybe he has a chance to make it if he continues with his exceptional play. That would be unheard of for our little school to have two players with recognition along with players from the top teams including Duke, UNC, Arizona, Michigan State, Villanova to name a few.

Apparently fletcher got interviewed with WSPA and was shooting free throws and over the course of the interview he didn't miss a shot.

It was like 102 free throws.
