Did not get a chance to see the game, but 8 assists by Storm in 22 minutes is pretty solid. Hoover contributing, and Hollowell did some nice things apparently. http://woffordterriers.com/boxscore.asp ... ll&id=4033

The team we beat is winless but has played a tough schedule.

Good coaches know how to bring their players along, and I have no doubt MY will do just that with this group. We have some freshmen that are learning a lot about D1 basketball, and we are working with two big men on the floor at the same time for the first time. It's a work in progress, and we will look good and we will look awful at times. Give our guys time to work it out. That is what the period until New Years is about.

Two wins in two days. Looked great to me overall and I enjoyed being at the game today. Next home game Georgia Tech. Can't wait.

I tend to overreact to these early nonconference games. I forget that the main purpose of these games is to prepare for the conference schedule and ultimately the conference tournament. Everything is really leading up to those games in Asheville for a trip to the Big Dance. So right now we are experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn’t. We are in a one bid league so an at-large bid is not really in the discussion. And I have confidence in Mike Young that he will have our boys ready for a run come March.

And FWIW, North Florida has played Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, and Virginia Commonwealth...tough.

I agree, great win away from home against a pretty solid opponent. 27 points for Fletcher...the guy is simply a stud. But there are still a couple of concerns. Cam Jackson was very good inside for us...when he could manage to stay on the floor. Foul issues limited his time and we need him. Our big guys still pick up too many fouls. Also, High Point’s pressed caused us to turn it over a number of times. Perhaps I’m being nitpicky, but these are things that could cost us down the road.

Tomorrow 9 pm at UNC, ESPN 2, national exposure. Could probably get a ticket. Go Dogs.

Thank you Roy for this opportunity; did you know Wofford recruited Roy out of hs.

Just listened to the archive of the coach's show. It was a nice review of the season till now and what to look forward to. Derek Brooks gave a great interview at the end. I'm pumped for tomorrow and Sat!
