Hard to tell if he is as fast as Newman but he looks fast enough to play QB. The downside is that he has 3 other D1 offers - Umass, Toledo, Utah State - and 13 total schools interested up to now.

I've lived in NC for way too many years and have never heard of Mt Pleasant. It must be near Shelby or Rutherfordton, which is not far from Spartanburg and probably influenced by the Spartanburg media.

Mt. Pleasant is in the Charlotte/Concord area.

Really like Parker a lot. Smooth route runner and looks great on PR/KR. Not sure about competition level but attacks the ball in the air and pretty physical after the catch.

We got us a RB in this class. Colby Wood from Jefferson High in Ga. has committed to us. 5’10” 190. Great looking prospect. Lots of honors and awards. Good student. Has offers from Navy, Air Force, Army, PC, Cid, Eastern Mich., and Mercer. Here’s his highlight reel:

I am excited about this young man and how he will look in our offense.

I join you Ruckus in your excitement. I did not know what to expect. After watching these videos I feel that he will be a great RB for us. He has strength, adequate speed although I have not seen his 40 time, agility and quickness.

Colby Wood looks like Lennox McAfee with some Will Gay mixed in which is not too shabby. I'm excited to see him and all the other new recruits suit up.

Heard where Woods is the 4th leading rusher ever in Georgia High School History... Also pretty funny his high school coach for the first 3 years was Ben Hall... Played for Furple... And they didn’t offer him.

With the new NSD of Dec 20 just around the corner does anyone know if Wofford will have any recruits to commit at that time ? Since we have about half a dozen to verbally commit it seems that some of those if not all of them would sign the dotted line.

We have offered Ath Johnny Fritz from St Cloud Fla. 6’2” 180. Plays WR, SS, OLB. Reportedly has offers from UK, USF, UNH and us. Kid looks like he could play just about anywhere.
