I don’t think Jacksonville State is as strong as in the past... They struggled to beat Chatt first week and they’re wins haven’t been as convincing as years past... The OVC has never been a strong league IMO and particularly this year... Samford would have a great shot to knock them off in a second round game in my opinion... The 7 seed is a great one for us.

I'm OK with whoever we get paired with once we get to the playoffs. I'm not even totally concerned with the South Carolina game; mostly hoping to get out of it healthy. I would prefer not to face a SoCon team, but if that's what has to happen then such is life. Beating Furman or Western again would be tough, but if our guys can't get up for a playoff rematch with Furman then somebody needs to check their temperature.

I am also OK with whomever we get as well.....There isn't a team that I fear from a schematic standpoint and or talent stand point. I think JMU is the lone exception as they have proven to be the head and shoulders top team...not that they couldn't be beaten....but it would take a monstrous effort......that being said, no team is untouchable....as the recent results have shown....North Dakota state is very vulnerable, and so is the rest....provides some perspective on how good an 8-1 season is to date on the cusp of 9-1.......BRING EM ALL ON.....teams prepping for us on a week to week basis is trouble for most if not all teams.....

LD, I only know what I have seen re Lufkin: he was in a brace not dressed in either the Samford or WCU game. I have not seen him dressed since. I don't know his status or situation.
I remember thinking to myself at ETSU when I saw Contee dressed on the sideline that it must be because of Lufkin's absence. But again, I don't know this for certain. Just my take.

I was thinking about it, but for the last few months I've lived in Va and I would have had to drive 5 hours down then 5 hours back up with minimal sleep between trips.

In some ways I was glad that the Basketball game sold out that way I wasn't tempted to pain myself
