Redfern got his first start in regular season and kickted a 50 yard punt. Later he bobbled a snap and had to run; was hit hard and carted off with a knee injury. No report on whether it was the kicking leg.

That is really too too bad. Should get a nice compensation package if he cannot successfully rehab. Coach Caldwell (former WFU head coach) said some very nice things about Kasey.

I watched some of the Detroit game against the Giants and got sad every time the Lions punted.

Darn, if he had just punted it after picking it up. Or, taken a safety. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB6ebj2dqgA

Kasey Redfern is currently a free agent, as of March 2018. By late July he should be fully recovered and get a chance to catch on with a team again. Go Kasey!

From the box score it appears that Kasey did virtually all of the punting, but no record of him attempting FG.

Great news ... Kasey just signed to Atlanta practice/active squad. https://twitter.com/atlantafalcons/stat ... 5880768512

https://sports.yahoo.com/falcons-sign-f ... 26063.html

Will be the active punter this week vs. AZ, and perhaps indefinite future! https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2019/10/1 ... -matt-wile

Big heart, great character. Confident he will perform well.
