Shot an 83 today and finished +11, tied for 67.
We know he wanted to do well as he defended his first major title. Time to forget about this one and take charge at next tourney.

Pretty solid 2 under 70 William put up today. He's off early tomorrow, and should get excellent conditions.

Cooled off and finished T55 in US Open. So, so far William has made both major cuts (by far most players did not, including some of the world's best) in the Open and Masters, plus the Memorial, finishing T22 in the Masters. He will move up in both FedEx points and World golf rankings.
Keep chopping wood.

William is not entered in the event next week and, IMO he needs a break. This week, following him online, it appeared that he once again hit the ball great and got virtually nothing out of it. It has been that way for about a month now, and he must be frustrated. Today he hit the ball great but had one hole-a relatively short par 3-that he made a sloppy double bogey that ruined a really good round. At one point he had moved near the top 10 before that happened. Golf is spooky. I think that when the putts start dropping and he gets a break or two he can win. Look at Speith today; he got some great breaks and ended up winning. As Steve Elkington said "he could fall in a river and end up with trout in each pocket!"
