We have plenty of talent returning, but remember that most freshmen that come in at our level need lots of work-especially on defense. We have Cam who has proven to be a possible force in the center, and has three years in the program. Pegram is a big guy who is going to be a big factor for us. Fletcher spent a lot of last season learning to go to the basket along with his ability to shoot. We have guards and forwards who can play, but there are lots of positions available. Heading to the JRIS this season should be fun.

Lowery will be crucial for us next year too. He has the type of big strong body, presence, and trench mentality that could do much of what Tim Johnson, Noah Dahlman, and Lee Skinner once did for us. He should keep his game about seven feet on in. Jackson and Pegram will be key too, but Lowery could add a dimension we really need.

I just want to say that I love seeing all of this off-season talk about the team. It shows there is a lot of excitement about this program. I think this is mainly due to the players, both the returning and the new. The new building is another added bonus. There is certainly a noticeable buzz about the program and I sense we could see another great season. I think we are really building something truly special that will bring a lot of positive attention to Wofford. And I know I'm probably dreaming, but just imagine if Zion Williamson did come here in 2018...

As a high school senior, Dishon Lowery was the defensive player of the year in his very competitive county, on an excellent team, and at 12.5 RPG was considered one of the top rebounders in the state of Georgia. Hope he can continue to develop and get better; could make a huge difference. Has a great work ethic too.

I think Dishon will play a good bit more this coming season and start to show us his full potential.

SMH at two young men giving up a Wofford education to go to these places, but I still wish them the best in their future endeavors.

Hickert signs. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports ... 69594.html

With Goodwin coming too, not sure how our schollie count is working out.

Wait, appears Hickert may be preferred walk on, with the right attitude. Dad played hoops for Davidson. http://www.lakenormancitizen.com/sports ... -star.html
