Just think if we have only won those games with cellar dwellers The Citadel and WCU! We'd be sitting at 10-3 and in a battle for the top spot in the SoCon. Oh well, no use saying "what if". If the focus is on improvement and player development, you have to be pleased. If these guys ever learn to D up, they'll be very tough!

On attendance, I do know that Thursday night was the first official "smoker" for fraternity rush which surely made and impact on the student attendance. Hard to schedule around that but wish they would! Hopefully tonight will be a packed house or at least close to it. Those that missed Thursday missed one of the all time great games ever in the Benjo.

Doesn't The Citadel make cadet attendance at home football games mandatory?

Well they made it mandatory when they played us at Wofford this year. I think they brought the entire corps of cadets.

You can't fault their strategy. It can help a team win.

Up by 4 on Chatty at the half. I realize we have a long way to go tonight and I'm still concerned about fatigue issues popping up, but you have to say that Wofford seems to save their best basketball for February, which is a very good thing! This is the right time to start peaking!

Zion is also here. Students chanted at him and he seemed embarrassed. Somebody also hit a half court shot during a break so everybody in the building wins a pizza

Perhaps this belongs in a recruiting thread, but do we really have a legitimate shot at getting Zion? It seems like he'd go somewhere larger. But if he does go to Wofford, he could elevate our program to unprescedented heights and put us on the map for the entire country...and become our first ever NBA player. But he would have to be serious about getting an education as well to come here, and I can't answer to whether or not he is. I just don't know what kind of student he is academically.

In the golf parlance of veteran announcer Bob Rosberg: we have no shot.

The team gave it their all but I think they just ran out of gas against a very good team. No shame in that. To be honest, I was prepared for it.

Yep team ran out of gas- when you've played 4.5 games in the past week, it's bound to happen. And sadly Zion is heading somewhere else but at least he gave us the respect of a courtesy visit and maybe that puts us on the radar of someone who has an offer but never really considered us before the press from ESPN this week and whatever results from Zion's visit.

Wofford played great basketball for about 32 minutes. Then, just nothing would fall. As others said, they looked tired.

Cam Jackson made some good plays, but he looked sort of tired the whole night, I thought.

He had some foul trouble, and that didn't help. Pegram got some cheap fouls late, seemed to me. There was a sequence in which we really needed a score -- game was close or maybe tied -- and it appeared that Jackson got fouled....he fell to the floor. Coach Young was really mad. Perhaps if he'd gotten to the line and kept us just a little out front, we could have dug in and held on.

Oh, well. I think Wofford may still have some good play left this season.

It's about getting ready for the tournament. I love to see how we have grown this year and I'm surprised to say this, but we have a better team than I've seen since I've been watching Wofford Basketball (since 2011 for me). And Ryan Sawvell is awesome!!! Proud of our team. LET THE BIG DAWG EAT!! Ready for the last home game next Saturday! Will be a day to remember.
