Just want to relay to my fellow T-Dog Fans.....

There is a confidence coming from this team that I have not felt nor heard since we joined the program. I just got off the phone and the feeling and energy being conveyed from the team is one of complete confidence. Not Bravado either. My last sentence of the convo went like this. "You and the team ready for Thursday?" ANSWER--EVERYONE IS SOON TO FIND OUT. NUFF SAID" I love it. From these discussions I can tell this group is completely confident in their team and what they have. I have felt that same type of energy coming from the coaching staff as well. I am so excited that I cannot wait until Thursday.

If the short haired dog mojo is back, then that is a great sign. Almost 25 years for following Terrier football have taught me that when our guys exude this type of quiet confidence coupled with the chip on our shoulder that comes from being discounted by some the results can be extraordinary. Here's hoping to a great start to the season on Thursday. Let the big dog eat...

Most encouraging to me is the depth of the talent. It breeds competition and the ability to keep fresh legs on the field. But talk won't do it. The guys have to do it, and really pull for EACH OTHER.

Players need to make plays.
Period. End of story.

Have quite optimism with a dose of nervousness (first game jitters). Got to get 'em on their heels early, hit 'em hard in the trenches, and hope to catch 'em napping with some good downfield passing. All "mudrats" leaving the swamp early to avoid the coming big-blow and toad-strangler! See you SHD's in Tennessee time!

" get 'em dogs, and shake 'em"
