Isn't he class of 2019? Unusually early for us to be offering. Appears very talented; also accomplished NT on the football team.

Did any of our guys sign LOIs today? Today was the first day class of 2016 members could sign for the early signing period.

Per Twitter post: We just got a commitment from Justin Tucker, a 6'7" C/F from Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando. Not same school, but same area as Fletcher Magee. Must be a good school, both athletically and academically. Shane Larson (NBA) is a grad and their site shows another player going to Carnegie Mellon. What I could find showed him a strong finisher at the basket. Great photo of him posing at the gate to the campus. This is beginning to look like a real quality class, filling the holes we need to fill. PG still is a work in progress, but that is to be expected at our level.

Long player, good bounce, active. Appears to have a strong upside and should really help us at some point, especially if he can defensively control the paint. Great fit for us.
Averages 15.5 points, 10.4 rebounds for perennially strong program that competes with Fletcher's former HS.

This recruiting class is a bell-ringer!

Time to focus on an outstanding PG, or two, for 2017.

R,
Brewster Academy is about an hour north of our home. The school is nationally-recognized for its academic and sports prowess in basketball and hockey. Hoops alums have recently landed in the Big East, ACC and American Confs. Hockey's stars include Steve Balsamo, our neighbor and brother of Mike (we offered in football), who went on to captain the Stonehill College (Easton, MA) team until his graduation last year.
This hoopster from BA is touted as 1 of the top 5 unsigned PG in the East per a regional website. Commentary also praised his willingness to work hard given he was headed to Army. if we get him, you'll have to introduce him to fine southern cuisine and put some weight on him quickly!!

Another unsigned PG prospect from up east comes on campus this week: Donovan Love from New Hampton School in Providence RI (6'1 175). We must be fishing for a walkon PG as I am not sure we have any schollie money left for this class.

Apparently we have a another addition to his class, likely a walk on. Michael Manning Jr (6'8" 195) from Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis TN.

Looks like another late addition is PG Donovan Love of New Hampton. Committed today.
Not sure he'd be my choice of a back up to EG but whatever. Hope he helps us.
