Bad news on the recruiting trail...

Out of the Terriers 14 committments, 3 of the players have de-committed. A running back from North Carolina is going to App. State instead of Wofford (He'll be stuck behind Richardson and that really good Freshman back-up they have for most of his career, when he could have really played a lot here early). An OL is going to Kentucky instead (can you say 5- year scout-teamer? At 6'1, he will never play for them, when there is a great need for OL's here). Also, a TE from Tennesse chose Tennesee Tech over the Terriers after committing. There's only one TE, Fenn Allen, with a lot of game reps. All of these kids really messed up because they could have played early here, but will be back-ups most of their careers. They will realize next year that they messed up. Anyways, don't be too upset about all of this because it happens every year. I'm just dissapointed because we had a really nice class shaping up. Oh well, signing day isn't till February 1, so Terrier coaches will find those guys that fall through the cracks the way they always do. Overall, this has been a very productive year, but it had the potential to be one of the very best ever.

That's depressing news to start the weekend with :(

Oh well, 12 days until signing day.

Btw, thanks for the update.

Are there possibilities this weekend?

Jeremy Marshall

What do you think of Jeremy Marshall? How often do the coaches offer someone before the season? I don't think it's very often?

Jeremy Marshall is going to be a GREAT player for us. He fell through the cracks because he plays 1A football in Georgia and tore his ACL last season. Look for him to contribute next year as a freshman.
