Wish I could go. Kids' bball game at 5:30. Fun game last year and was packed house. I have no love for their coach who seemed like big time whiner that night. They have good players..we better be ready after they bumped off Furman who has been playing well.

Wasn't aware that this game is on my cable lineup. May pose a problem when the football game begins...Wow, their #55 is BIG BOY! This is a good team and well coached that we are playing. We need more slashing to the basket. Magee did it once and scored. We need others to loosen up the packed in defense. So far we are taking care of the ball, but passing it around the perimeter isn't going to win the game.

We're playing against a much taller team that plays a zone. So far we have played well, with lots of penetration efforts that have produced opportunities. All of the guards have played pretty well, with scoring by EG, Spencer and Magee. Our bigs have done a reasonable job of defending two pretty big guys. I think our guys have put out a lot of effort on defense and played maybe their smartest game to date.

Ohhhh- What a game. Both teams played great and we had the last shot in OT to win and our best shooter just didn't make it. Great job by our guys.

Played well enough to win, but the thing we have been better at this year cost us, free throws. Can't shoot 50% and expect to win close games. Just have to put this behind us and learn from it so we can win the tournament.

MY just said on the postgame it was the first time he has seen championship level play from this team. Just getting better. Make some FTs, Fletcher is not cold, we win. But it's January and we are 4-2.

Mercer person- Was there some special promotion yesterday, or just wanting to beat Wofford. Largest crowd ever? Great enthusiasm by your folks and fun to see. It was truly one of the better games anywhere this season. Well played by both teams and well coached by both coaches. Unfortunately the two teams may have to combine for an all star team to beat Chatty.

Funny, we don't hear a peep from Mercer faithful last year when we sweep them.
But then they really really really want to beat us. Gives them legitimacy.
