Half time....NDSU 24 Jack. St. 0

total plays: NDSU 42 (24 run) (18 pass)
Jack. St. 20 (15 run) (5 pass)

Thought that Jack. St. maybe had an edge in speed, but doesn't look like that's the case. NDSU looks just as quick, and more balanced on offense. They can pass with success when necessary! On defense again NDSU looks pretty much in control. Anything can happen in the second half, but Jack. St. seems to be back on their heels right now. Could be playoff experience, but NDSU came to play!

NDSU would be very competitive in most FBS conferences.

Well, final NDSU 37 Jack. ST. 10.

Total plays: NDSU 85 (51 run) (34 pass)
Jack. St. 59 (29 run) (30 pass)

All along (before the game) I truly thought Jack. St. had at least an even chance of winning the championship. NDSU certainly has things going their way in FCS play. Maybe its coaching, maybe its tradition, recruiting, or all the above, but they just seem to be on another level year in and year out. How do they do it???

Well, it starts with the 3rd rated QB coming out for the NFL draft. Late 1st round/early 2nd round pick.
