COLE HIGBIE JR. ???
NICK WARD JR.
MICHAEL SARAFINOS JR.
DOMINIQUE LEMOND SO.
JO JO TILLERY SO.
MALIK RIVERA SO.
GEORGE GBEESE SO.

SPECIAL TEAMS

DAVID MARVIN JR. (KICK, FIELD GOALS, RESERVE PUNTER)
WE LOSE THE PUNTER BRIAN SANDERS, SO THAT WILL NEED ADRESSED.
LOTS OF RETURNERS RETURN......(COLE CLEARY, LENNOX MCAFEE, NICK COLVIN, WILL GAY???, CHRIS ARMFIELD) ALL RETURN SO WE WILL HAVE PLENTY OF OPTIONS FOR THE RETURN GAME AND NEW FACES COULD ALSO GET IN THE MIX.

PAUL NELSON GRADUATES SO WE WILL NEED TO FIND A NEW PUNT RETURNER AS WELL.

WOW......LOOKING AT THIS GROUP RETURNING REALLY PUMPS ME UP. TALKING ABOUT SKILL, DEPTH, EXPERIENCE RETURNING. TALENT AND EXPERIENCE ACROSS THE BOARD AND AT ALL 3 LEVELS. WE LOSE SOME KEY PARTS, BUT BRING BACK SO MUCH TALENT AND DEPTH THIS COULD BE A SPECIAL GROUP DEFENSIVELY. LOOK AT THAT D LINE WHERE YOUR BEST PLAYERS COULD ACTUALLY BE THE YOUNGEST, MILES BROWN AND JORDAN PERLOTTE ARE GOING TO BE A FORCE FOR YEARS TO COME. AND TO HAVE THE PROVEN D LINE STUDS WITH THEM MAKES OUR D LINE LOOOK VERY IMPOSING NEXT SEASON.

MOVE TO THE 2ND LEVEL TO THE LINEBACKERS TO WAHT I THINK COULD BE THE BEST LINEBACKING GROUP IN THE SOCON NEXT SEASON. SO MUCH TALNTED DEPTH THROUGH THE 2 DEEP. TERRANCE MORRIS, MICHAEL ROACH, DARRYL VINING, JOHN PATTERSON ARE ALL STARTERS RETURNING IN ESSENCE. NOT TO MENTION LINCOLN STEWART, COLTON CLEMMONS, DYLAN YOUNG WHO ARE ALSO STARTERS BASICALLY. SO MUCH TALENT, SKILL, AND DEPTH. LOOK FOR A TRUE BREAKOUT YEAR FOR THE LB CORPS.

SECONDARY WILL BE LEAD BY SENIORS CHRIS ARMFIELD AND JALEEL GREEN. COMBINE WITH LOTS OF TALENT AND DEPTH AROUND THEM WITH JOJO TILLERY, NICK WARD, MALIKE RIVERA TO NAME A FEW, WE ARE ROCK SOLID AT CORNER AND SAFETY. WE WILL NEED TO REPLACE STARTER BRION ANDERSON AT THE OPPOSITE CORNER AND DOM LEMOND IS A FUTURE STAR IN THE MAKING, BUT THERE WILL BE YOUNG TALENT INFUSED TO BOLSTER DEPTH AS WELL. WILL DEVIN WATSON FACTOR IN, OR THE ADDITION OF COMMIT MASON ASLTATT WHO COULD FACTOR IN EARLY PLAYING TIME. LOTS OF STRENGTH IN THE SECONDARY.

KEY LOSSES

EJ SPELLER DL
DRAKE MICHAELSON LB
BRION ANDERSON DB

WE LOSE 1 PLAYER FROM EACH LEVEL AND THAT LOSS WILL BE FELT. BUT WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITHOUT EJ ALL SEASON, AND HAVE DEPTH AROUNF THE OTHER POSTIONS AS WELL. 2016 LOOKS TO BE A SEASON IN WHICH EXPECTATIONS SHOULD BE SKY HIGH.

Alavarez is a DL.
I really like F LBs Hinton and Rountree.
DL Mangum will help too (as will Zamary).
Love the incoming F defenders. Many will help us.

We are losing some real stalwarts, but what a group we return. Add to that the quality playing time so many have gotten and there is a bright future. Our cupboard is not bare. If we can be healthy next year it may be interesting who the coaches red shirt. I know the offense is on another thread, but the same can be said for them. We have quality players on the roster with real experience. It WILL be exciting.

We will be very experienced on D; most encouraging is the talent and experience at DB, which could translate to a whole new level next year of pass defense.

I agree with most that our Defense should be top of the league next year. There will be little if no turnover for 2016. Drake and Brion look to be the biggest components to replace. I feel their backups (Terrance and Domo) should not be a dropoff, and with a year under their belts they should step right in and contribute. As mentioned earlier our LBz can be a special group next season, and with the addition of Datavious and Jireh Wilson the depth and athleticism of that group will be better. The only thing that we lack is that 6'3 or better DLineman of is a pass rushing demon. We have nice size in the middle with Miles but we need a few of our guys to top or get close to that 300 lbs mark in the offseason. We have the Horton kid committed but have not seen him play.

All in all, we have players in place to become the aggressor and give us more chances to blitz and come up with more elaborate schemes and coverages next season.

Terrence Morris is an OLB; Drake plays inside and his back up would be Lincoln Stewart.
But yes, I agree: our LBs are very athletic.
Brandon Curtis is a 6'3" pass rush specialist. But other than Roseborough and Bobb a few years ago, we really haven't had too many of those type guys at DL.

I like the play of Stewart, but if Morris comes back 100% I could see him manning the MLB spot. Vinning, Patterson, and Roach have held their own this season, but my sleeper would be Rountree for next season. I have paid attention to this kids body mass from game 1 up until now and our lifting program has done him some justice! If he can maintain the athleticism with the weight gain he could be the next Alvin Scioneaux.

As for DE, after the Western Carolina game I realized how much we needed size on the edges. WCU's had to be every bit of 6'4 or better. Winning begins and ends with DL and OL play in my book. And the more size we can get at those rush ends the better.

Colton Clemmons. Will be a major factor. Major. Got injured in that mercer game and is coming back from that laceration on his leg. May be the best athlete of the group. The LB Corps is stout for the future

Considering our Linebackers are probably the deepest position we have and that we played all year without EJ, we're practically losing only one player.

Next year has got to be the year.
