Thanks Tn2.....Hopefully we will get back on the good foot this week. I loved that catch for the degree of difficulty and it was tailing away from him, weird really, is that it worked out to be about the only spot for it to be a completion. That and that 4th down catch over the middle with the DB all over him, I was proud of him for sure. Wish we got a better result out of it, but I think he is starting to find his footing in the offense and will be good for us going forward. Hate all these darn injuries...I know its part of the game but its a bitter pill to swallow seeing these kids getting battered and bruised up.

Our talented freshmen have really stepped up however, and some are quite experienced by now. JoJo will do well, no doubt. And Miles Brown is a stalwart already. Go you SHD's!

Update on Nick
Surgery is not required he will be in a sling for 4-6 wks.
He broke his Spackula (Shoulder Blade) in half.
6-8 weeks before he can start rehab.
Pain is excruciating but should be manageable after 10 days.
A quarterback from Furman had the same injury four or five years ago and mad a full recovery.
He will be fine and mentally he is also alright.
He will have to be extremely careful these next few weeks to not re-injure.

Jacks came by to check on him, he also is banged up, he is one hit away.
The team did not practice Sunday because everyone was in treatment.
Wofford is definitely very banged up.

I fly back to Oklahoma in the Morning and will probably be back, if needed, to set him up for the next few weeks.
I'll have to make his room ADA, LOL

That sounds like an unusual injury. Glad that he doesn't need surgery. It must be like a collarbone injury-not much you can do but hurt until it heals! Is there anything that can be done to protect it when he plays again?

Hate to hear that about Nick, we need him out there on that field. But very glad he won't require surgery. That's big. Hoping for a full and expedient recovery.
