And Lee has made the home page of his new team

It's probably a big deal that Karl was signed to the summer league team of the Blazers. First, if there is a team that needs players it is Portland. Second, just to be in the summer league is a big deal. Most of the summer league players will end up on a Development League team and get to hone their skills and learn the NBA game. Karl has great skills, but needs the opportunity to get the teaching and coaching that the D League offers. This is a great opportunity and probably is the highest a Wofford player has gotten in the professional ranks. The eyes of all NBA scouts and coaches will be on him during the summer league, so he has a real opportunity to be seen by the ones that matter. By the way, the games will be on NBA TV.

I stumbled across this radio segment today. It's from July 8 and one of the Sports radio stations has Coach Giltner on to talk about Karl. They ask great questions and Wofford gets a lot of pub.
Interview starts at 25:45
