A new coach might not change the results, but after this much time I think it is worth a shot. Perhaps that is tough considering we are talking about our current coaches livelihood, but with absolutely no forward progress in years, I think the Wofford community is right to ask for a chance at more.

Western Carolina's program has been at the bottom of the conference with us the last several years and they just removed their coach. The certainly don't have a better financial position than Wofford, so if they make it a priority, then so should we.

No matter what anyone thinks of the current coach personally, there has to be a performance based evaluation at some point. If no is not the time, then when? We aren't in year three or four of this program and there certainly is enough data to determine a trend. This type of futility wouldn't be tolerated in football or men's basketball and it wouldn't be accepted in any academic department on campus, so why are we OK with letting this happen in this instance?

Very well said.

I am sure the right coach would show dramatic improvement in a year or two.
