Whoever put this video together did an outstanding job. Go Terriers! Bring home another SoCon title and let's dance again!

Wow! A video full of dunks and blocks! That is something new. =D>
It is going to be an exciting tourney. I will try to tune into UNCG-Samford this evening at 6.

UNCG it is. They won 81-76. They only played 7, and that was more like 6. I know the Terriers will be ready.

UNCG had a very balanced scoring attack as six players scored in double figures today. The Spartans are a talented and dangerous team despite the fact that we have beaten them by double figures twice this seasons. We best bring our A game tomorrow and play some tough defense if we want to make it to Sunday.

Lawdog, thanks for posting that story--That is a perfect example of why we should strive to give what we can to the Terrier Club--Lee's story reminds me, of me, when I was a kid--Football was my passion, and Wofford gave me an opportunity for me to play college football, and get a first class education. Graduation put football in the rearview mirror, but the education got me focused on the future, and life. I think the scholarships the Terrier Club provides are a wonderful thing, for a lot of reasons, most of which are more important than winning a championship every year--Not to say that is not a great benefit--Just Saying--

The article Todd wrote on Lee Skinner is really fun-and, FGS44 it IS a reminder of why we give to the Terrier Club. Lee Skinner is the type of guy who will always be a team player, and any company would be fortunate to have hime. He needs to end up in a place that will give him a chance to be a leader. There are so many great stories on this squad. Isn't it interesting that John Swinton's name keeps coming up.

UNCG is only playing six scholarship players and Lamot is a walk-on, but makes a lot of little plays for the Spartans. It will be interesting to see how they play today. I said last Saturday before any games were played that if I could have my way, the Mocs would avoid UNCG, VMI and Samford all until the final, because I felt like those three were all playing pretty well. Two out of three got stuck in the other half of the bracket. I was glad to see it. I really think UNCG is a tougher match-up than Western Carolina or ETSU for Wofford with how those teams are playing right now. Maybe that changes after I watch the WCU-ETSU game today. But, regardless, this is a tough game for the Terriers. Really interested in watching it.

I did not think Furman or The Citadel posed much of a threat to the Mocs, but if Croone is going to play like he did last night, maybe the Paladins can be a threat. Still, Furman hasn't won back-to-back games against D1 teams all season long. I am hoping there isn't a first time for everything in this case.

Western Carolina-ETSU- Maybe the winner gains some confidence and starts playing better? WCU tends to play well in Asheville. ETSU got some rest- maybe that will help them for a stretch run.

VMI-Mercer is a pretty interesting game. The Bears are the better team, but VMI's style poses a threat to everyone. I am interested to see if a team beats VMI what they look like the next night as well. I picked VMI, but I almost rather the Mocs play Mercer, just because if they play VMI and win, playing Wofford the next night will be brutal. If they beat Mercer, they will be a little more rested when they battle Wofford. I think the Mocs have a better chance of beating VMI than Mercer, so I'm not sure. Just a thought....

Get fired up, SHD's.

That is well done. I think because of the stage and the fact that I saw it live, my favorite play of the year was that block by Brooks on the Dukie.

The real season starts today. Let's go you SHD's!

#1 seed CSU got bounced in their 1st Big South tourney game. They noted that it was hard to play a team that had already played a game under tournament conditions. Hope we can avoid the same fate. http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20150306/PC20/150309476/1177

30-20, Terriers at the half. We've played well on both ends of the floor- UNCG got a little help towards the end of the half from the officials with a lot of cheap fouls being called on our guys (we went from 3 team fouls to 10 team fouls over a 3 minute span... quick whistles for sure). All in all, just keep playing tough Terrier defense and we should be all right- just need to limit fouls with numerous players having 2 fouls a piece at the break.
