YT, I hope this will get the students out during interim. This team is the highest rated team we have ever had. In my wildest dreams I couldn't see how we could win 2 of the 4 after exams. Now, I'm getting greedy!

I love how some of the NC State fans call us a "cupcake" on their message boards. They are obviously idiots who know absolutely nothing about college basketball!

I know I am just as excited as everyone else right now, but I will say this. Our players walked out onto the court and expected to win this game. Our coaches walked out onto the court and expected to win this game. And quite frankly, this is the type game that we, as fans, should expect our team to go out onto the court and win. Great win by the Terriers. Enjoy it and let's move onto the next one!

Short Haired Dogs stand tall in Reynolds. Without a doubt, a great win for the Terriers. Can't get too high, though, Charleston Southern thrashed us last time we played them and West Virginia and Duke saw this result. Thanks to the players and coaches for bringing this big win home for all of us.

Enjoyed meeting and chatting with WCNHD. There was a very big Wolfpack crowd, and a couple hundred Terrier fans pulling very hard for the SHD's. On several occasions (esp. the end), the State fans were very quiet indeed and overall not particularly gracious, although Coach Gottfried had very nice things to say to Coach Young and many of our players.

Our guys played with great confidence and energy from the beginning and never got rattled; our last score was a thing of beauty. Everyone made big contributions. Skinner would not let us flinch. Garcia was clutch and really righted our ship a couple of times. Cochrane was remarkably athletic all night. Gordon and Newman did not back down. Allen and Collins hit some big shots and played with confidence. Jackson and Brooks played some valuable minutes. Coach Young kept them calm and subbed very intelligently.

It was a very intense and well-played game ... few turnovers (I think we had four). Shooting percentages were low because every shot was contested.

One of the finest Wofford wins in a while. We have a lot to be proud of. Our guys learned a lot tonight that should serve us well.

Will this ending be on SportsCenter?

Stats of the game: Wofford had a 13-0 edge in points off turnovers and a 9-0 edge in second-chance points.

Congrats to Coach Young and all of our young men on a marquis win! Wasn't pretty, was pretty dang on exciting! Just FYI, this same NCSU team beat Chuck Southern by 36 a few nights ago and CSU is pretty good. Celebrate tonight and back on mission tomorrow.

Coach Young interview. Love the end, where he reminds the team about the upcoming game against Chuck South, but then says "that was a helluva win"

This is the article from the Raleigh News and Observer. However, the video of the interview with Coach Gottfried is what is interesting. He is very complimentary, but also mentions how intense the game was and that this is probably the last game they will play in Reynolds Coliseum. That building has seen some fantastic teams, players and coaches, and for Wofford to play in the last men's game-and win- is very special.
