I agree Ruckus. I've been quick to criticize the lack of success of the program and the Coach in the past. The results the team has earned this year, given the resources they have to work with, is pretty remarkable really. Congratulations to the players, Coach I and his entire staff on a successful campaign. Just as important, the very best of luck in the SOCON tourney beginning today against Samford. Hope the short haired dogs catch some lightning in a bottle and make a run.

We lost to Samford 4-2. The season is about done. But great strides were made this year towards the end of the season. I just hope it doesn't all go back south again in 2015.

We are up against tremendous odds being in the losers bracket. Now we get Davidson, the #1 seed. If nothing else, it would be sweet to end their season and send them on out of the SoCon!

I believe this is my first baseball post...but it probably won't be the last. What a gutsy, "Wofford like" come from behind win. Scratch 'em out, dig and claw, whatever you want to call it, the game was a thriller to watch. It may not have been the prettiest or most classical, but it was Wofford dogs doing what they do best-fighting the fight and never giving up. Tomorrow will be tough, but they are still playing and not many are. Great win!

App, fElon, and Davidson are all out of the tourney and out of the SoCon. Only GSU, of the defecting members, remains.

Wow, we struck out 19 Davidson batters. Great comeback. Eck and Stillman combined to strike out 10 in 4 innings. Play Sammy tomorrow at 1:00; if we win it, we play them again tomorrow. If we win both, we play either GSU or Furman on Sunday in a winner take all. Video.
