Went cold in the second half and lost. Go figure. http://athletics.wofford.edu/documents/ ... df?id=3276

I can figure that this program still has a lot farther to go than most of you thought before this game, something I knew all along. The Alabama game was, for lack of a better term, a fluke.

I do not think Alabama was a fluke. I do think that GW was a little bit of a let down after a big win. I expect this team with lots of young players to only get better as the season progresses. At times they show great tenacity; the Alabama game, the overtime win against Maine. If anything, I think they lack consistency but it is wrong to think of the Alabama victory as a fluke (my opinion). We'll season how the season goes after the break.

I tend to agree. This team is a good combination of experience and young talent and will continue to get better as the players get used to one another. And as mentioned elsewhere this team has the greatest depth ever, and is less likely to get worn down as the season progresses.
