Brandon Yarusi

With a 3.10 ERA, and 107 strikeouts and only 33 walks in 98 innings, I thought Yarusi might get drafted or picked up professionally, but I have not heard that he did. Many on this board saw him more than I did, but the game I saw him I was impressed by his tenacity, smarts and ability to spot the ball; he reminded me a little of Greg Maddux. Does anyone have any thoughts about him or know what he is doing?

(Oops, I just noticed he was only a junior this year, and hopefully will have an even better year next year and get some offers.)

http://athletics.wofford.edu/news/2013/ ... h=baseball Well done. I have only seen Brandon pitch once, but really liked what I saw. Has nice collection of pitches and is intelligent. Anyone else seen him pitch some?

Great kid and pitcher. His draft prospects ---in my opinion---are not very good based upon a few factors:
1. he is not 6' 4"
2. he is right handed
3. He doesn't throw mid-90s.

It sucks, but he doesn't fit what the pros look for.
