It was a good series. Your guys played hard. They can really swing the bats. I was impressed with Gilmartin at shortstop. I already knew how good Redwine, Waring, Kirkley, and Eaves were.
The difference for the entire series was the relative strengths of the two bullpens. Simple as that.
The Wofford coaching staff clearly didn't have much faith in their bullpen. And when you look at the numbers below you can see why. They didn't want to go to the pen in the first place. They didn't want to bring anyone else in when the bullpen struggled.
Coach Jordan has a ton of faith in Copenhaver, Smith and Saunders for the Bulldogs. Those guys have been one of the strengths of our team this season.
