Tied at half, ladies were routed in the second half to lose by 17 to Radford. Third straight loss to fall to 6-3. Open conference 12-18 vs.2-6 UNCG at home; need to straighten up and play better if we are to win that game.

Nice 62-47 win over UNCG. Can't believe Moorhouse went scoreless. Need to beat Elon tomorrow; if we play focused, we can do it.

Lost to Elon 74-68; faded down the stretch, and Moorhouse, Morris and Wrightson had very poor shooting nights. Brittenham hot, but it is a team game. 3-point defense weak too. Disappointing home loss to a team we should have beat. Play good NC A & T team at home 12-21. http://athletics.wofford.edu/news/2011/ ... 12539.aspx

Records Broken

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford’s Rachel Brittenham set a new school record with 15 assists, and April Moorhouse and Erin Frost tallied new career-highs with 24 points and 15 points to lead the Wofford women’s basketball team to a 68-61 win over North Carolina A&T Thursday afternoon in the Benjamin Johnson Arena.

The win puts the Terriers at 8-4 overall and sets a new school record in wins before the holidays, which was previously held by the 2001-02 team with seven. It also matches the win total for the Terriers from the 2010-11 and 2009-10 seasons.

EXCELLENT win against a good A & T team. Frost 4-4 from downtown. Moorhead broke out of her slump big time. I really like the way the team stayed focused, played together, played good defense, and hung tough late in the game when the pressure was on. This could be a special team. The ladies enter the SoCon schedule with some good momentum ... don't let up.http://www.youtube.com/woffordathletics ... n2uhgLU_Zg

Disappointing loss to GSU Jan. 2, a team we should have beat. Next Monday a tough home game vs. Davidson, which handily defeated GSU - time for some redemption.
