Lady Terriers in Quarterfinal today

Postby GoldandBlack on Thu Mar 01, 2007 9:57 am

Tremendous job this season by Edgar Farmer and the Lady Terriers.

Coach Farmer has taken a team the conference coaches picked to finish in last place and earned a bye in the tournament. Farmer also did it without any players named all-conference or all-freshmen. The Lady Terriers are playing Davidson in the quarterfinals today.

Go Terriers!

Anybody know the score? 1400 has a national espn broadcst. If they have the men, they should carry the women.

I found it on the espn website- 53-46 Davidson with 7:53 to go in the 2nd half.

No shame in that. What a great turnaround from the past few years to win some big conference games and get a first round bye. Looks like good things brewing for the women's basketball program.
