$3 admission for conference games this year

Postby BestOfBreed on Thu Dec 14, 2006 9:44 pm

Just checked out the promotional schedule just posted for baseball:

http://wofford.edu/athletics/sportsMark ... x?id=21594

This is at the top:
Admission is free except for the following games:
South Carolina - March 21 - Reserved $10, Standing Room Only $5 (SRO available day of game)
Tennessee - May 8 - Reserved $10, Standing Room Only $5 (SRO available day of game)
Southern Conference Weekends - Friday and Saturday - Ages 3 and up - $3
Sunday - Adults $3, ages 12 and under free

I understand charging for Carolina but I think they'll be lucky to get more than 25 people to see Tennessee for that price. Will charging admission for the conference games mean that only parents will be there?

I would think that's what that means. Does that mean the students also have to pay $3 for the conf. games? Because if that's the case I can't imagine drawing big crowds...I'm not going to pay $9 per weekend to see a few innings here and there since I don't get a chance to see the whole game...
