Socon Scores 10/15

App State beats GSU 24-7. GSU looks good against bad teams and stinks against good teams.

Furman beats The Citadel 39-31 in 3OT. The Citadel's defense was able to last 3 quarters this week instead of just 2. The Citadel led 21-7 in the 4th but the offensive play calling for them in the 4th quarter was just short of taking a knee on each play. The OC for The Citadel should definitely get the game ball from Furman. Although, Furman's backup QB kicked serious butt.

Chattanooga beats Elon 10-7. I thought Elon could win this one. Nkang with 25 tackles for Elon.

Haha yeah. Well the truth is that the Citadel runs a one-page playbook and we finally figured it out. Those guys are tough though. Winning today will prove very beneficial for the Paladins b/c of losses to S. Illinois, JMU, and Montana above us.

Just some cramps from the heat. It was miserable down there. Actually, I really think bringing in Renaldo threw off El Cid just enough to work. Blessing in disguise, if you will.

Well, as an App fan I thank you for the complement.

I also wish you all the best with your message board and I wish the Terriers continued success on the field, except against App, of course.
