Josh, I think your list is very good, you must have really done your homework. My only question is QB, where you have two guys who didn't even start last year as the best 2 QB's in the league. Granted, they may be the best two, maybe this is a down year for the league's QB's. (Is the Clark kid from Western back this year? I thought he was a pretty good QB last year) As a terrier fan, I would love to see Josh Collier on the team, by the end of the season, and I have total confidence he can do it, even though many on this board would disagree.

Also, as a terrier fan, I would love to see Layton Baker on the all-Socon Team. I'm predicting and hoping he will have a big year in 2006 for Wofford. But overall, an outstanding list of players.

I see where you are coming from on the QBs. Gray and Elder were some of the best QBs in HS during their senior year. They both have looked good in the spring. Elder beat Furman in the Semis when Richie Williams went down. He also had 4 TDs against Texas State as freshman when Richie went down. I think both of them will possibly be top 20 in the nation as seniors

Since Kevious Johnson has only played two seasons, he has two years of eligibility left, so he should be listed as a junior.

I too sincerely hope that Jason Collier is on that list at the end of the season. Boy, do I hope that..........more than anything else other than avoiding the injury bug which is probably hope #1. Prediction: if he is, the Terriers run the tables again.

That's not something you can measure until you see them play more. You've seen Elder take over when momentum was going his way, in front of a huge home crowd for the biggest game in recent school history (because it was the semis and against Furman). Elder looks good, but you've yet to see what happens when players go down, when you go against an excellant defense and what happens we he loses or when he has a meltdown.

Right now, he's unproven. But I just love how the App fan puts most awards going to App players. Curious to know why players who couldn't win certain players of the year last year are picked by your this year, when players that beat them are returning.

I updated the teams. ASU and GSU have some really good LBs who I believe will step up. For some positions that were unknown I went to schools who have been known for having a good player at that position and plugged them in as a guess. Last year I hit about 31 or so correct from the preseason. With much more uncertainty this year I did a lot more guessing than just basing on performance on the field from last year. ASU, Furman, WCU, and GSU appear to be the most talent on paper from last year. I think UTC is a sleeper and Wofford could be if they can replace those OL and Bethay.

Here are my current teams:
