It will not be a Merry Christmas for me

Postby woffordgrad94 on Sat Dec 22, 2012 4:19 pm

My mom and I made the difficult decision to let the hospital transport my dad to a hospice. We expect to lose him in a few days. So please be extra thankful for all your loved ones this Christmas. They will not always be around.

Deepest sympathies WG94. Hospice is a wonderful organization and your dad is in the best of hands.

Praying for God's peace and mercy for you and your family.

I've prayed for you, your father, and your family, 94. I know alot of what you are going thru. My father was in hospice care for several months, with his last remaining weeks in a hospice facility. Those workers are extra special, and extend forth lots of love and care for their patients. If the facility is anything like where my father was, he will be well cared for. I know it's not an easy time for you and your family, and I know my words cannot provide you the confort you need, but may God reach out to you, your mother, and the rest of your family, as well as your father, and give you the peace of mind to know that he is in control, and that you will again see your father one day.
