the sudden death of a Wofford friend

Postby dungeonjoe on Fri Jul 22, 2011 11:43 am

I got my screen name from the group of guys who played intramural sports together at Wofford from 1981-1984. We were the Dungeon and we were good friends and stayed that way in the years since (given what all of us face with time and distance).

On June 25th, one of our Dungeon members died suddenly. Will Woodham was of the class of 1984. He was a great example of what a Wofford grad should be. He will be missed.

"When we from thy halls are parted,
And life's battle's on,
Thy great spirit shall inspire us
Till eternal dawn.

May it ever be our watchword.
"Conquer and Prevail."
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater
Dear old Wofford, hail!"

verse 3 and chorus of the Wofford College Alma Mater
"There are things that you value and things that you will fight for. That is what today's all about. We fight for that short-haired dog and that name across your chest." Mike Ayers
