Look at this CCU schedule. Those rednecks think they can get a playoff birth  Also, they have two facts in their way. One, they play a crappy non-conference schedule. Two, they play in the worst conference known to man...... the Big Mouth!

Lokk at this...............

9/2 ELON
9/9 at Wofford
9/16 at Georgia Southern
9/23 SOUTH CAROLINA STATE
9/30 at Winston-Salem State
10/7 FURMAN
10/14 at VMI
10/21 LIBERTY
11/4 SAVANNAH STATE
11/11 at Garbage-Webb
11/18 CHUCK SOUTHERN

Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

They might get in at 9-2. Anything is possible now that they have someone on the selection committee though.

They play four Southern Conference games including Wofford. I would not call that crappy. I also think the Big South Conference champion gets an automatic bid. They have the talent to be that champion. And I will never forget the comeback Gardner Webb almost acheived on Wofford in 2005. The Big South has decent teams.

The Big South does not get an automatics bid. They don't have enough teams to be eligible for an automatic bid. Even with the addition of PC, the Big South won't be eligible to be considered for an automatic bid until 2013. This is probably a good thing since if the Big South had an automatic bid last year, Charleston Southern would have been in the play-offs.

That would have been almost akin to blasphemy.
