Great wins by the Terriers over Furman, C of C, and UNCG. I'm glad to see Coach Traylor going out on a winning note. Maybe he is as good as his 29 year Division 1 WINNING record indicates. We'll see what happens next year with a new coach.

Missed you guys, (Rukus, BoB, Eyes, terriers), the past few days. Been down in South America on business. BoB, can't find where you documented the baseball scholarship levels at Davidson and Furman? Trust but verify as our greatest president once said.

Here's a link about the Davidson's scholarship levels on the Cats board. They seem to have even less than I thought (1.5-2 baseball only scholarships).

Looking good T-dogs. Thanks for the help in getting CofC out of the tourney. Y'all have done it the hard way, #1 and the #5 seed.

BoB, thanks for the link.

I've been reading recently where no future Davidson student will leave school owing money for a student loan. In other words, if S/He is admitted to school, there will be money provided by the school to cover any shortfalls the student may have in paying tuition based on need. It's always good to have a large endowment! Again, this is any Davidson student. My only question is how does this affect "athletic" scholarships. Could a moderate income (or less) student be recruited for baseball or ......, get into school, be provided no athletic scholarship money, and then be provided money by the college as a "need" student? Would this distort the "apples to apples" athletic scholarship comparisons we all make on the various boards? I'm not attempting to knock Davidson. it's a great school and this new program. as I understand it, is something we all should consider if we can afford it. But the question about athletic scholarships came to mind. I'm sure you guys can set me straight on this.

You shouldn't have any problem with tickets at the gate. Single day pass is $10.
