DH - Saturday starting at 1 pm. Game 3 Sunday at 1pm.

Game 1 should be interesting with Redwine facing their ace Mark Wilson. Last week against VMI, Wilson had an 8 inning, 3 hits, 1 run, 12 K's performance.
That got him MAAC Pitcher of the Week, Northeast Regional Pitcher of the Week by InsidePitching.com, and he was on College Baseball Foundation’s Weekly Honor Roll. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the Terriers.

Niagara may have the MAAC pitcher of the week throwing in game one, but we have the SoCon pitcher of the week in game two. (Too bad it only appears in the baseball "weekly releases" on the SoCon website)

Wow, it's a shame that someone didn't mention that before now.

Belated, congrats to Ben Austin for winning SoCon pitcher of the week last week.

From the press release by the SoCon:

Pitcher of the Week
Ben Austin
Wofford
6-2, 190,
Chapel Hill, N.C.
Ben Austin earned his third consecutive win
after limiting Army to four hits and one run
over 6.2 innings in a 5-2 triumph over the
Black Knights. Austin, who was converted
to a starter after splitting time in the bullpen
and outfield last season, was allowed three
runs (two earned) in his last three outings.
He has allowed just seven hits and boasts a
1.71 earned run average while holding opponents
to a .159 batting average.
