Forgive me for maybe feeling overly optomistic but when you score
33 runs in three games with three solid performances from your
starting pitchers, you've got to feel pretty good. I just learned what
IPFW stands for. They are a Div 1 school of about 12000 students so
they can't be that bad.

Out of 293 teams, IPFW was #265 last year. Wofford was #209. This is from Boyd's RPIs. IPFW isn't very good but it's still an encouraging weekend considering Wofford only took 2 out of 3 last year from them.

Thanks for the history on IPFW. Maybe I did get a little carried away.
Incidentally, we scored 43 runs in the three games. My math was
never good.

Where can you find a RPI site? I emailed Jeff Sagarin (he actually responded within an hour-I was impressed); he doesn't do college baseball.

type in Boyd College Baseball RPI on Google and you'll get the site. Baseball America and a few other publications do them as well, but I believe that those sites require a membership...(i.e. money!)
