Nice opening win. Let's keep it going against Xavier. Opening the season with a win against an ACC team is positive no matter how you look at it.

In difficult cold, windy playing conditions the Dogs move to 2-0 on the young season by downing defending 2014 Big East champions Xavier 11-3 in a most impressive performance. The Terriers launched three home runs and struck out 18 Muskateer batters, which is a great accomplishment no matter who you are playing. I know its very, very early but you have to like the way we are playing so far. We do not look like a team destined for 8th out of 9 teams in the SoCon.

Impressive win...and we hit the long ball. I know its too early to tell but striking out 18 batters against a conference champion (A10 I believe) bodes well. Let's make it a weekend sweep with a win against Dayton.

The Dogs overcome three errors and come from behind to win again today. I don't know the last time we started up 3-0, but I sense it might have been a while. Great opening weekend for the Diamond Terriers.

Dogs win at PC 7-4 in another come from behind effort to move to 4-0. The Terrier pitching staff closed the door on the Blue Hose after spotting them a 3-0 first inning lead. Will Stillman got the save again for the second game in a row. It's always nice to beat PC in anything, especiallly down in Clinton. The only negative stat is tht we left 15 men on base- so it could well have been a blowout.

Could have been much worse. Umps took 2 runs off the board after they said our base runner was nicked by ground ball.

I am not surprised at all. Anytime we go to PC we get jobbed by officials, no matter what the sport. It's just something we know we are going to have to contend with and overcome when traveling to Clinton.

We win again! The Dogs defeat their second ACC foe of the season, taking down Pitt 5-3. Pitt started their ace, too (as did we), so this is a really nice victory. 5-0 now! A couple of more HRs for the Dogs; we continue to show good power. Our pitching has been quite solid so far this season- we will need for that to continue. As an aside, it was mentioned on the SoCon Digital Network that Coach I was suspended for today's game due to an incident at PC but they did not elaborate.
