2-0 in the ACC
Not too shabby
Coach I suspension is mandatory I expect after being run at PC
Very nice win
Pitching was solid again despite some errors
Kids look confident
Very happy for them and the coaches
Let's keep it going

Watched a few innings. Great pitching by Leftwich.
Had some bleeders fall in and got some help from a few errors and a questionable call on a missed force out at second.
I'll take it.
7-0 start.
Let's keep it rolling.

Beat UNC Asheville 2-1 to go to 7-0. Great pitching and defense today. We fanned 16 UNCA batters. A 6th inning HR by James Plaisted was the difference. Next up are a Wednesday trip to Clemson to try to knock off a third ACC team and then four games against Harvard next weekend at King Field.

The 7-0 start is Wofford's best since starting 13-0 way back in 1983 as an NAIA team. That will be a hard one to match.

Clemson is very beatable this year. Would be a big feather in our cap and a huge confidence builder.

The Terriers (8-1) take game one of a four game series with Harvard 9-2. We were actually outhit 11-10 but we were able to take advantage of some Crimson mistakes. Someone told me that this was Harvard's first game this season. Doubleheader tomorrow starting at 1.

http://woffordterriers.com/news/2015/2/ ... 55900.aspx I had a chance to watch part of this game. I like the looks of our team; we play with a lot of intelligence, focus, and confidence.

We've actually struggled to get hits in quite a few games. Today it caught up with us.

The Terriers (9-3) earn a split of the Harvard series by blanking the Crimson 7-0 today. Pitching continues to be outstanding. Adam Scott threw a complete game shutout, allowing Harvard only 3 hits today. That has to be one of, if not the best individual Wofford pitching perforfances in a game in the D-1 era! Outstanding stuff, Adam!
