Elon coming to town

Elon coming to town for 3. Since joining the SoCon we are 4-21 against them (ouch). Would love to see us win this series. It is possible; Elon has a good program on the diamond and is good again this year, but not as dominating as some past years. They were swept by USC which we beat. They lost 2 of 3 to Davy, which swept us in three close games. Our pitching has been better but we need to score some runs. Come on, you short-haired dogs.

Sadly you cant compare common teams and get a good read on us. We do have the 12 SOS in the nation, but havent been able to pull out a win against the top portion. Our real issue is our bats get hot and cold. Our pitching is great with the exception of a few bad innings/games. IMO i think we sweep, but I could see you stealing a game. But baseball is funny and anything could happen. GL and here is to a good clean series.

EFF, hope you don't sweep, but could happen. Certainly hope, and expect, to get at least one win, and we might unpleasantly surprise you. We have showed strong flashes on the mound and at bat, but have not been good at doing both in the same game. Ditto on the GL.
