Maybe he realized how poorly things are done in the Wofford Baseball program and decided not to waste his time. Probably the smartest decision he ever made. Not sure what the other new assistants were thinking when they chose Wofford. They'll learn soon enough what a joy it is to work under Coach I, as all past assistants have.

I've met Mark Line a few times and he seems like a really good guy. If what everyone on here says is true, maybe Richard Johnson should move into another role and let Line start calling some shots.

Coach Line is a great man and would be a great fit as AD at Wofford. To me, it seems Richard Johnson lacks the passion and knowledge necessary to build and maintain a top flight athletic program. Wofford needs someone who will make decisions to best benefit each program. The goal should be to make each team the best is can be, and not settle for average results. A change up top would do great things for Wofford Athletics.
