We won our 20th game yesterday. I know WCU is way down this year but it is nice to sweep a team that's had our number for years. We have a ton of away games coming up with some tough teams starting with ECU then UNCW. Keep pushing on toward the tournament.

Good momentum heading into the spring break week. Over the course of the non-conference week I would like to see some of the primary pitchers not throw as many innings get the others guys some work and have our horses ready to charge through the rest of the conference schedule. Go Terriers!

We once had seasons in which we didn’t win 20 games all year. The program has made strides. But I still think there’s a limit to what we can do with our scholarship situation the way it is. And that’s sad. Women’s sports, or more specifically Title IX, has hurt many programs.

How many of the NCAA allowed 11.7 baseball scholarships do we have?

Up 10-1 at UNCW in sixth, in televised first game of double header. From the parts I have caught, team playing smart with nice spirit.

Won second game tonight too.

Per your suggestion, LD, I tuned into the second game last night. We have closers now, and that really makes the difference. It sounded like we had some fans in the stands and why not-they're playing at the beach!

How many of the NCAA allowed 11.7 baseball scholarships do we have?

The last I heard, we have between 5 and 6 baseball schollies. I am not sure if that’s still what it is though. TI and staff do a nice job finding guys that can qualify for alternate assistance, such as academic scholarship money, that can help our team. But we are still at a disadvantage. The team actually is doing very well thus far this season despite that though.

The team is now 6-3 in the SoCon and 25-12 overall after taking 2 of 3 from Furman in Greenville! Always great to beat Furman no matter the sport!

Defeated The Citadel 5-1 to go to 7-3 in the SoCon.

Cliched the series with The Citadel with an 8-5 win Saturday. Going for a sweep this afternoon!

Break out the brooms! Never gets old beating El Cid or the Furples. Need to keep winning series. The higher the seed the better for the tourney. Big series against UNCG this weekend for lead in the Socon.
