I think the paper said Nichols will probably play but Marshall is day-to-day.

Elon is bad but the question tonight will be is Wofford worse?

Looks like Elon is going to get their first DI win of the season.

Our basketball team is a mystery to me. Their inconsistency indicates
something is wrong but what? I will be interested in seeing if Marshal
and/or Nichols played.

I just got home and could not find the score. Does anyone have a final? I am guessing we lost which is unbelievable to me. Can anyone fill me in on what happened?

Gibson played.

Wofford never led. Seems like they trailed by as much as 9 in the 1st half but cut it to only 1 at the half. Elon pulled away in the 2nd half to win by 10. Embarrassing loss even if it was a road game. Elon has been pretty terrible so far this year.

Wofford 69
Elon 79
Final

Nichols with 18 pts
Marshall with 17 pts
Gibson with 10 pts

Thanks. Maybe a break will do this team good.

I drove from Charlotte, two hours each way, to see that miserable game. We never looked decent the entire game. What a disappointment.

There is no excuse for this loss. This is embarrassing. We just aren't ready to play, regardless of the talent.

Absolutely pathetic performance-I do not know what to say....seems we had our talent on the court to win...so it wasn't injuries. What's going on-those of you at the game, any ideas as to why we were not into this game apparantly?

I can only conclude that this team is not motivated. Mike said he chewed
them out after the Auburn game for relaxing when they had a lead.
They have a pattern of going flat when it counts the most, Last year
Furman came into our place and blew us out by 30 points and the in
the last game we blew a 20 point lead and lost to Cutadel. If you can't
get up for rivalry games at home, when can you get up?

With the talent we supposedly have, something internally is wrong.

Amen to that, brother.
