We will be facing a Spartan team that will be coming off a loss at Furman. Win, and we clinch at least a tie for the SoCon regular season title and we clinch the #1 seed in the SoCon tourney. So a lot is at stake. The game is nearly a sellout, but I heard a few scattered single tickets do remain. It looks like we will have Keve Aluma but Matt Pegram was still in a boot tonight and it does not look like his return will be Saturday, which is sad- he will miss playing his senior night.

Wish I could make it. We have a great team. Every game will be fun here on out. But we have to play better to beat UNCG.

Good news about Keve. I think they said Mat would be back for the Furman game. Personally not that concerned with the second half tonight. Easy to get a little complacent when you have a 25 point lead at halftime and your two biggest games of the season in front of you. That is sports, and it happens. Good thing we turned it back on, but it can become a habit.
Tonight MY plaed some great combinations in both halves. Keve, Cheve and Stumpe got lots of minutes and did well. I was very glad to see the play of DTL and Tray Hollowell. Unfortunately this was one of Cam's nights off. I think he got 12 in his freshman year; 6 in his sophomore year; four in his junior year and two this year. I think he is through getting nights off!
I think our guys will be OK on Saturday night. UNCG will be stung and hopping mad. However, I think our guys will be using all their upperclassmen knowledge and skills. These next two are what we play for.

It sure is quiet here for a game like this.

Great send off for our three seniors as we take care of UNCG in fine fashion 80-50. I’m really glad that Matt Pegram got to play and that he got that dunk late. Cam Jackson has been one of the best Wofford post players ever. And will there ever be another player like Fletcher Magee at Wofford? It’s sad we will likely never see these guys in the Jerry ever again.

Another big one in a week, and it's not in our place. I hope our guys will enjoy tonight with their friends, teammates and families and come back ready to close the deal.

Winning at Furman might be our toughest task of the season (at least within the conference). They are going to come at us with all they have to try to hand us that first loss. It was be the most hostile environment we’ve seen.

Great victory for the Terriers! Doubt anyone envisioned the Old Gold & Black would win by 30 POINTS tonight? UNCG is no pushover; WOW...

Enjoyed the 3 seniors' radio interviews with Thom and Jim post-game. (MY was also very excited!) Team is humble/hungry and ready to work harder for more; starting next Sat at Furples.

And right now, the Terriers are getting regular props on the ESPN broadcast of Gonzaga vs. St. Louis. Biil Walton is talking about Wofford's 14-game winning streak, etc. etc. Who wudda thought our alma mater would be getting such praise/mention in the national spotlight? =D> #amazing

I can't let this thread close without mentioning the defense that Fletcher (and others at times) played on UNCG's Alonzo. He is their leading scorer and pivotal player. He was shut down on Saturday night by Fletcher while Fletch was lighting it up. I will promise the scouts didn't miss it! Was that the reason for the shouting match between their coach and Alonzo-who knows. But it was a complete shut down and a large part of the win. Wofford's defense holding them to 93 points in two games is easily as spectacular as the offensive efforts.

Alonso has had some good moments against us so it was satisfying to shut him down. I suspect that there is some special prep going into defending Rafferty as well, since he is such a hub of what Furman does, but we must also be aware of their balance.
