Stumpe is playing extremely well, now that he is fully healthy. Great interview of him, shown at last night’s game. I liked Collins a lot, but I think Stumpe is proving to be more versatile ... developing good inside game too.

Chattanooga came in as the much more refreshed and rested team. The Mocs hadn’t played since Monday. Wofford played at Samford Thursday then had a long bus ride home. They did not get home until 4AM then had class Friday at 10AM (thanks to a two hour weather delay). That gave us considerable disadvantage last night. Maybe the SoCin should do a better scheduling job.

After further review prompted by lawdog, Stumpe is currently having a better season than Collins was ever able to put together. He's rebounded and assisted well and has shown his versatility and efficiency on the offensive end. He's been a great complement to Fletcher and has really shined as the Option B to Fletcher.

I don't see the comparison between Stumpe and Collins as much. Maybe....I don't know. Collins became a really good player, though. But I feel that he was more of a true guard. Stumpe is mostly a perimeter guy, yes -- but he has this sneaky game around the basket. He reminds me of Sawvell, just a little shorter. Anyway, he's been a pleasant surprise -- and real help to this year's Terrier team.
