7 p.m, ESPN3. Looks like this home game is sold out. Furman is talented and deep, and so are we. Should be a heckuva game.

Meanwhile, tonight in the SoCon, The Citadel forced Samford to score 107 and take them down; and ETSU and UNCG, in the alphabet soup game, are playing one of the ugliest games ever seen. It's close, but oh so ugly.

Apparently UNCG could not throw it in the ocean.

Getting hype for the game! I just hope that the infamous Saturday SoCon officiating does not rear its ugly head in this one tonight and ruin a great game!

I’m also to see that we are a slight 1.5 point underdog here even playing in our home facility. Thinking this has more to do with Furman being good than us being not good though.

OT but Chattanooga just lost at The Citadel 110-101 in overtime to fall to 0-5 in the SoCon. The Mocs are really struggling.

Oh FWIW- This game has been announced as a sellout...and they are calling us liars on the Furman board concerning said annoucement! :D

The problem with their conspiracy theory is that students get in free (at least I think that's still a thing)

so there was no buy out or whatever.

this is the first sell out for a conference game in JRIS.

Get hype

PS: Furman people keep being truthers when it comes to admission to Wofford athletic events. Remember when they thought that the administration didn't actually buy tickets for students? That was just weird and this kind of echoes that weirdness

Ten point Terrier win. Hotly contested game, supreme effort by all the players.

actually it was 9 points, but you're right it was a good effort.

Cam and Stumpe had 20 points and Fletcher had 17.

I think the biggest difference between last year and this year is Stumpe. And the biggest surprise is Murphy. Jackson has upped his game and for the most part stayed out of foul trouble (He had four tonight, but he played well).

Derrick Brooks has grown into being a key rebounder as well.

I'm proud of this team. We look good.

Great TEAM win! The best part is losing to us is really getting under the Furple fans’ skin! My favorite post from the UFFP:

Sloppy game, woff barely wins at home, no biggie

Woff players with the backstreet boys hair, glad that is not my team lol :P

Hoover played well tonight too. Aluma had some good moments.

My favorite part about Furman complaining is at the time of the football playoff game one of them said "We own Wofford in basketball"

Fact check:

Furman has now lost 9 of their last 11 to Wofford in Basketball

The only thing the Purple Pukes own us in now is womens’ sports. Hey, at least they still have that.

A terrific win for Wofford. Great team play, overall.

Trevor Stumpe is a force! He just seems to find ways to make plays. Cam Jackson was really good. Nathan Hoover made some big shots. Fletcher Magee was off but still finished with 17; played hard on defense, too. Other guys stepped up and played well.

It was a great atmosphere as well.

I would, however, like to add....and I've said this before. But I think it was a real big mistake to put students only in the endzone. There were times in the 2nd half when Furman had possession and things were tight, and I was thinking that if there were students in the middle section on the sideline, the noise level could have been significantly higher -- and perhaps the homecourt advantage, too. Students were cheering and making noise...but they were all the way at the other end of the court. It's as if the decision-makers regarding seating wanted to give Wofford the least homecourt advantage possible. Unfortunate.

In every other way, it's nearly a perfect venue.

Again, a really great game!
