Storm Murphy was terrific against UNC. That drive in the second half against Berry on which he scored -- that was truly fearless for a freshman.

Murphy has potential to have a great career, I think. He's pretty short, and that could make it tough for him defensively. But he's really quick and his ball-handling is excellent. He can really pass the ball, too. Arguably, he might thrive more in a faster-paced offense than what WoCo runs. But he seems plenty comfortable running a half-court set, and I expect that as he and the other guys continue to gel, his skills as playmaker will come to the forefront even more.

As I write this VMI is tied with UNCG with a little over 4 minutes remaining. How?????

That is a surprise that VMI is doing that well. One reason maybe is that they are playing a home game. Other than that who knows. You never know until the game is played.

VMI lost on a CS call with Alonzo moving into the defender to get free throws at the end. VMI had every chance to win, but missed shots and especially free throws that would have won it. UNCG was awful, but kudos to VMI for coming back from two drubbings to almost win the game.
