It is only human nature to get really fired up and concentrate hard on a game at UNC. But we will need the exact same amount of effort and excitement today if we are to win. Today’s game is actually more important than the last one since it is a conference game and we have a shot to get off on the right foot with a road win against one of the better teams in our conference. I hope our guys respond correctly...any kind of letdown in focus or effort and we’re toast. It will likely be a sparse crowd in a ridiculously large building so we will have to supply our own energy.

Just checked online and all tickets are general admission, so we can purchase and gather behind our bench and root them on. Watching UNC put out very little effort againt Wake. Counting the time...

Guards are handling their press.. UNCG tv announcers seem surprised.
Continue moving the ball- particularly if they key on Fletcher in 2H.

That was awful. Ice cold in the second half

We played hard but surrendered a 14 point lead and lost by 4. Alonzo got hot for them in the second half and we still kept Fletcher on him, which tired Fletcher. We put Brooks on him later and it helped, but too late. UNCG played well in the second half and kept the ball from Fletcher. We will learn from this and get better.

Hate to say it but we got out-coached in that second half. We had no answer for their defense and played the entire half according to their tempo and dictation. Fletcher couldn't get open and when he did he forced some bad shots instead of staying patient. Lastly, we were in the bonus with about 6-7 minutes to go in the game and never went to the line, instead we elected to continue outside shots and made multiple bad turnovers. Not a good half after a stellar first half. Their team made adjustments at the break and we came out flat.

Tale of 2 halves...hopefully, the team learns from this tough loss. Is this the first time Fletcher went o for everything in a half?
Let's start the new year strong with a win vs. Harvard on Wed.

VMI and Citadel first, both at home

UNCG is deep ... outscored us 28-4 off bench. Magee scoreless in second half. Still feel good about our chances at home.

should not have lost that one.

I didn't watch the second half (was at a holiday party), but I watched the first.

Thanks for schedule, Hobo...
Brain cramp due to extreme desire to pay back the Crimson; plus, sub-zero temps the past week and next several days.
